Susan A. Snyder

1957 - 2019

Susan A. Snyder, 61, of New Columbia, passed from this life on Thursday, February 8, 2019 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg. She was born on November 10, 1957, a daughter of Marlin and Julia Tressler, of Lewisburg.

Sue graduated from Lewisburg High School. She cared for her children at home while they were young, and later worked for many years as a front desk clerk at the Holiday Inn. Her hobbies included spending time with her children and grandchildren, attending figure skating events with friends, and enjoying and photographing sunsets and flowers.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Marlin and Julia Tressler, and a brother, Jack Tressler.

Surviving are her children, Crystie (Jason) Fritz of Milton, Timothy Snyder of New Columbia, her grandchildren, Micah, Tate, and Selah Fritz, and a sister, Sandra Tressler of Florida.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 6:30pm in the Davis Chapel at Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Rd. Milton. Please use entrance 1.

In lieu of flowers donations are requested to the funeral home to help defray costs.

Sue was a friend in Jr. High and High School. I remember her as a friend maker, always putting people together and welcoming new students. I'm Sorry for your loss, praying the Holy Spirit brings you comfort.

Sue and I graduated together, had a LOT of good times together. I just seen her and talked with her for awhile in Mifflinburg in December. I know Sue adored and loved her family very, very much. TAKE CARE. Sue, Rest in Peace, YOU WILL BE MISSED!Karen Gessner Engelman

I was so saddened about the loss of Sue. We met when we worked together many years ago in a little restaurant. She was always a lot of fun to work with and then we became good friends. Crystie and my son were born the same year, so we spent a lot of time having play dates with the kids. We went on a lot of bus trips together and we had so many laughs and made so many memories together. We had lost touch with each other over the years but sometimes would run into each other at Walmart or Country Cupboard. We kept saying lets get together for lunch or dinner, but we just never made it happen. And now I am so sad that my special friend is gone. But our memories will always be with me. I am so sorry Crystie and Tim. I know how much your Mom
loved you and how much she loved her grandbabies. She would often post pictures of them on facebook and I would see them. Sue was a really wonderful person and I feel privileged to say I knew her. I will miss you
my friend. Rest in peace Sue, we all loved you while we had you.
