Richard E. Hause Jr

1973 - 2018

Richard E. Hause Jr., 45, of Scurry, TX passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 in Texas.

Born in Lewisburg on May 7, 1973, he was the son of Barbara (Sechler) Hause and the late Richard E. Hause Sr.  He was married for 19 years to the former Lauren Earhart. She survives.

Richard was a 1991 graduate of Milton High School and a 1995 graduate of Penn State University.  He had worked for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics for 19 years as a Transfusion Technical Specialist.

He was into nature, enjoyed fishing, loved camping with his family and had hiked the entire Pennsylvania portion of the Appalachian Trail.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by two children Brett Hause and Kelly Hause; two brothers Shane Hause of Danville and Jason Hause of New Oxford; and a sister Stacy Keiser of Milton.

During an interview with his daughter, one of the questions was “what is your biggest accomplishment?”  His answer was “becoming a dad.”

Friend and relatives will be received on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at Wynding Brook Golf Club 201 Harvey’s Lane, Milton. A Celebration of Richard’s life will begin at 3:00 PM.  Officiating will be the Rev Robert Barner. Burial will be private in Harmony Cemetery.

Memorial contributions to benefit Rich’s children, Brett and Kelly, may be made by check payable to Members Choice Credit Union 1 Hospital Drive Lewisburg, PA 17837. Please place “for Hause children” on the memo line.
