Mildred M. Barnish

1930 - 2018

Mildred M. Barnish, 87, of Park Lane, Milton passed away on January 29, 2018 at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg.  Born in Mahanoy City on April 9, 1930, she was the second youngest of eleven children to the late Michael and Mary (Kazemka) Kustra.  She was married to Stephen Barnish, Sr. who survives.

Mildred was a graduate of Mahanoy City High School and worked for Milton School’s food service.  She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Milton.  She liked doing crossword puzzles and listening to polka music.  Mildred loved to spend time with her family. 

She is survived by her husband; two sons, Robert Barnish of Milton and Stephen R. Barnish of Milton and his companion Marqueen Henry; a daughter, Sharon Morgan of New Columbia and her companion William Bastian; and a grandson, Corey Morgan of Maryland.

Mildred was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Morgan.

Funeral services will be held privately.

I am so sorry for your loss. Mildred was a wonderful person who I’ve enjoyed getting to know the past several months. As well as all of you. She will be dearly missed. I’ll be keeping you all in my prayers for comfort during this time.
