Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Condern

1914 - 2015

Betty is survived by a brother George Condern of Reno, NV; a sister Frances Eisenhauer of Phoenix, AZ; a grand-niece and caregiver Charlene Stahlnecker of Milton; her special caregivers Cathy Merritt, Shannika Flatt, and Kelly Flatt; nieces Catherine Moser of Chattanooga, TN, Georgia Fedder and Debra Hoffman both of Milton; and nephews James Heckert of Greensburg, Stephen Davis of Selinsgrove, George Fritzinger of Milton, Scott Davis of Winfield and Brad Davis of Harrisburg.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Mary (Huff) Condern; her husband Lee R. Hoffman; four sisters Catherine Condern, Margaretta Heckert, Helen Fritzinger, and Nancy Davis; two nieces Rosemarie Zechman and Denise Smith; a nephew John Hoffman; and a grand-nephew Vincent Smith.

Following Betty’s wishes, graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 16 at 11:00 AM in the Milton Cemetery.  Officiating will be the Rev John E. Lee.

Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home 400 N. Front St. Milton.
