Doug A. Deitrick

1956 - 2021

Doug A. Deitrick, 64, of rural Milton passed away on Monday, March 22, 2021 at his home.

Born in Bloomsburg on August 9, 1956, he was the son of the late Robert and Jean (Starr) Deitrick.  He was married to the former Roxann Boyer.  Together they celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Doug attended Benton schools and Columbia Montour Vo Tech.  He had worked for AC&F Industries for 29 years, Playworld Systems for 10 years and retired from Great Dane in 2018.

He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose and a social member of the VFW both of Milton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children Danielle Deitrick of Stroudsburg and Zachary Deitrick and his wife Callie of Williamsport; four grandchildren Hannah, Austin, Raylan and Olivia; and a brother Rod Deitrick and his wife Tiffany of State College.

He was preceded in death by a brother Steven Deitrick.

Following Doug’s wishes there will be no services.

So so sorry about the loss of Doug. He was taken far to soon. Lots of memories from growing up together in the same neighborhood.

I knew the family...baby sat for the younger brother. Wonderful family. This sad loss. Lost touch, but remember him with such joy we spent together during our younger years. Sorry to his family and friends. He was a wonderful soul.
