Anna D. Taylor

1943 - 2015

Anna D. Taylor, 72, formerly of the Milton Towers, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

Born in Lewisburg on May 18, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Ann Kurtz.

Anna had worked for the Milton Shoe Factory and Bonanza in New Columbia.  She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Milton, and enjoyed running in earlier years.

She is survived by two sons Robert H. Taylor Jr. and his girlfriend Vickie Byers of Mifflinburg, and Harold L. Taylor and his wife Tammy of Oklahoma; a daughter Sherry Mowery and her husband Sydney of Northumberland; six grandchildren  Adam Taylor, Jennifer Hoffman, Corey Mowery, Ryan Mowery, Brett Taylor and Steven Taylor; five great grandchildren; two brothers Charles and Robert and two sisters Bonnie and Dorothy.

She was preceded in death by a daughter in law Kathy Taylor.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are under the care of the Shaw Funeral Home 400 N. Front St. Milton.


Aunt Anna you were always a wonderful person. I remember when you used to run in the marathons. I remember growing up and you having that BEEHIVE hairdo.

You will missed.
