Abigail L. Erdley

1985 - 2018

Abigail L. Erdley, 33, of Lewisburg passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2018 in Lewisburg.

Born in Lewisburg on October 17, 1985, she was the daughter of Jeffrey Specht and Susan (Snyder) Straub and her step father Shawn Straub of Milton.

Abigail was a 2003 graduate of Milton High School, attended Bloomsburg University, and graduated from Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center, Lewisburg.

She had worked for Urgent Care of Evangelical and was owner operator of Arthur’s Pet Pantry.  She loved taking care of special need dogs and cats.  She had formerly worked for Companion Animal Hospital in Selinsgrove, the Animal Emergency Care Hospital in Watsontown and as an EMT.

She was a member of the Order of Rainbow as a teen.  She enjoyed the outdoors fishing, hunting, hiking, kayaking and riding in her jeep.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandfather Carl Snyder and his wife Darlene of Milton, Ontario; a step grandfather Randall Straub of Milton; a step sister Heidi Straub Eck of Montgomery; and two step brothers Peter Matthew Straub of Lewisburg and Nathan Joshua Straub of Milton.

Friends and relatives will be received on Friday, January, 4, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the Shaw Funeral Home 400 N. front St. Milton.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00 with Rev. Ricky Phillips officiating.  Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland.

Memorial contributions may be made to Arthur’s Pet Pantry c/o Mifflinburg Bank and Trust 250 E. Chestnut St. Mifflinburg, PA 17844.

Condolences

Abby was such a beautiful person inside and out. I am so sorry for your tremendous loss. She really was an angel who walked this earth. She was so giving, loving, and compassionate in all she did. I am blessed to have known her, we all are. My prayers are with her family during this difficult time. I hope you find some peace.
